Sony's 10% apology discount doesn't apply to pre-orders

Sony has updated the terms and conditions of its apology discount to exclude pre-orders.

PSN members have been offered a 10% discount voucher as an apology for downtime over the holidays due to DDoS attacks.

In an update to the PlayStation Blog announcement post, Sony clarified that you can't use this for pre-orders. So. That kind of sucks.

The discount also doesn't apply to PS Plus subscriptions, video rentals or Music Unlimited.
