Screenshots of the chicken hat players can wear in Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain have been released.
Posted on Twitter by Konami, the firm said the hat will be offered to players which continue to die and wish for an easier time of it.
Players don't have to take the game up on its offer of the chicken hat, but the design is on purpose: you're literally a "chicken" for using it.
The hat was revealed during a livestream over the holidays.
Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is still without a release date, but rumors point to a mid-February release.
