Destiny has 3.2 million daily players, Bungie responds to Iron Banner feedback

Destiny has been out for one month now, and according to Bungie's weekly newsletter which was sitting in our inbox this morning, the game has 3.2 million daily players. Madness.

Along with a list of player-based achievements, Bungie said the daily average playtime for these 3.,2 million players is close to three hours per day.

"It's been an incredible first month for Destiny," said Pete Parsons, COO Bungie. "Players are logging more hours per day then any game we have ever made, our servers have withstood millions of guardians experiencing Destiny and none of it would have been possible without our amazing community."

The developer revealed the average player plays Destiny 1.8 times a day and has logged into the game at least 21 times (20.9 to be exact).

Also, in the past three weeks alone, Destiny "had more players online than during the same span for Halo 3 and Halo: Reach, combined."

Finally, the player Legend of the Week is Xo_RISA_oX, which Bungie said has captured more Zones than any other play at this time. How many? 5010 Zones. Proof of this is posted in an image below.
