Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will ship with 14 maps, more loot details
We are finding out more about the many features of the multiplayer mode in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare as we get closer to launch, and today we have some information on the number of maps on disc, how loot works in prestige, Seasons mode and more.
Michael Condrey of Sledgehammer Games, developers of Advanced Warfare, has been answering some fan questions on Twitter and we've got a lot of new information from it.
Condrey confirmed that Advanced Warfare will ship with 14 maps on disc, the number includes Atlas Gorge, a remake of Pipeline from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The map will be free for season pass holders and will come with any of the game's Limited or Atlas editions.
Advanced Warfare will also have a mode similar to Black Ops 2's League Play, for the competitive among us. Similar to League Play, each season will last one month, and you'll be getting a special piece of loot at the end of each season, determined by your performance during it.
Any gear you acquire from Supply Drops will carry over throughout your Prestige levels, you will however still need to unlock the base weapon and attachments through regular progression.
Advanced Warfare is out November 4 for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
