Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare: co-op mode details revealed
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's co-op mode was revealed yesterday for the first time, and today we have even more details to share.
The folks at MP1st harvested tons of information from an IGN preview.
So right off the bat the mode reuses the multiplayer maps and supports up to four players online or two players split-screen. There are three available classes, Light, Heavy and Specialist.
After each wave, you'll get a chance to upgrade your equipment and your Exo suit. Every ten rounds, you'll get a random objective, and you will get extra points for completing it, or suffer a penalty if you don't. You'll also get support drops once your support bar fills.
Not all the maps are going to be available from the get-go, instead, they're going to be separated into four tiers. Completing 35 rounds of Survival will unlock the next tier two, 100 points for tier four and so on, and that's overall score, not during one session.
So it does seem very similar to Modern Warfare 3's co-op mode, with a few twists.
