Square Enix's Shinra trademark doesn't have anything to do with a new FF7
Remember when Square Enix registered the trademark "Shinra Company" and people got giddy thinking it might be a remake of Final Fantasy 7?
It's not happening. It turns out Shinra Technologies (as it is now known) is a cloud gaming company, being lead by former Sqaure boss Yoichi Wada.
That's the biggest let down since Metal Gear Collection 2014 turned out to be a bunch of t-shirts and jackets and s**t.
According to Siliconera, Shinra Technologies - named after a company in Final Fantasy VII - will begin beta testing cloud services early next year.
