Iron Man's Robert Downey Jr has allegedly signed on to play Leonardo Da Vinci in the upcoming Assassin's Creed movie.
It's worth noting that the original report by Moviepilot has now been zapped from the internet.
But if true, it would suggest the movie is based around Assassin's Creed 2, where Da Vinci played an entertaining cameo role in the story of Ezio Auditore.
The Assassin's Creed movie is definitely happening - it has a release date of August 7, 2015, and it looks like X-Men star Michael Fassbender will play the lead role.
