Can you believe they're making another version of Dead or Alive 5?
Dead or Alive 5 is the latest fighting game to produce multiple re-releases.
Dead or Alive 5: Last Round is a re-release of the 2012 fighter for PS4 and Xbox One.
A next-gen release is a petty good idea, I guess, but it follows pretty closely on the heels of Dead or Alive 5: Ultimate last year, meaning you may end up buying three versions of the same game in four years. Street Fighter syndrome strikes again?
Gamespot reports producer boss Yosuke Hayashi announced the post at a Dead or Alive 5 tournament at Japan Gamer's Live. Tecmo Koei hasn't confirmed a western release window yet, but Japanese gamers should have it in northern spring 2015.
Here's the first teaser trailer, which is pretty poor quality, unfortunately; we'll pop an official embed in if we find one later.
