Xbox One version of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 put on ice [Update]
Update 3: Activision has said it will collaborate with Microsoft "in an effort to release" The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on Xbox One at some point.
A reason for the delay is still unknown, but according to an spokesperson for the company speaking with Eurogamer, the game will still be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and the PC in May as previously announced.
“We are working with Microsoft in an effort to release The Amazing Spider-Man 2 video game on Xbox One," the Activision spokesperson told Eurogamer.

Update 2: The Xbox One version of movie tie-in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has been put on hold by Activision.
UPDATE: According to a statement from Activision passed to MCV, the Xbox One version of the game has been put on hold with no reason given.
"We want to inform you that we are revising our release plans for ASM2 on Xbox One. When and whether ASM2 is released on Xbox One is TBD."
Original story: The game is still listed for release on Wii U, 3DS, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4, but the omission of the Xbox One version has sent spider-senses tingling.
Retailers such as Amazon.co.uk and game.co.uk are still listing the Xbox One game.
An anonymous source has told Gamers Honest Truth that the Xbox One version of the game has been put on hold indefinitely, but that report is written by a chap called "The Badger" so we'll take it with a pinch of bovine tuberculosis for now.
