Sony to sell all of its shares in Square Enix
Sony Corporation has announced that it will be selling all of its shares in Square Enix within the next few days.
As reported by Siliconera, Sony Computer Entertainment has come to an agreement with SMBC Nikko Securities Inc., which is one of the biggest brokerage firms in Japan, to transfer all of the 9,520,000 shares they own in Square Enix.
The transfer is expected to total around 4.8 billion yen (around $47 million) in additional profits for Sony's Q1 2014.
