Watch Dogs season pass listed by GameStop, mentions new playable character
Watch Dogs looks set to receive a slew of DLC - unsurprisingly - including an additional single-player campaign featuring a new playable character.
The news comes via reports of a GameStop listing for a season pass. Unfortunately being a filthy Australian I can't view the GameStop page myself, but AllGamesBeta has a screengrab which looks pretty legit.
Update: Here's a Google Cache link to the GameStop listing (thanks, Sal).
The pass will apparently go for $20, and is described as follows:
"Stay connected to the world of Watch Dogs with the Watch Dogs Season Pass. Get access to a unique Single Player Campaign featuring a new playable character plus more missions, weapons, and exclusive content for $19.99. That's an over 30% savings versus buying each piece separately."
The listing is for the PS4 version, but presumably similar offers will be available for the Xbox One version at least, and probably PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as well. Jury's out on Wii U, as that version has been delayed, and some publishers have eased off DLC support for the console.
We've asked Ubisoft for comment.
Watch Dogs is due on most platforms on May 27, with the Wii U version to follow.
