Anomaly Defenders announced as final installment of Anomaly series

Anomaly Defenders has been announced by 11 bit studios as the conclusion to the series, and this time out players will be defending an alien planet from a human invasion.

Here's the synopsis:

After two wars, the puny, petty humans have decided to launch a counter attack and destroy the Alien race once and for all. This time it is the Aliens who have to protect their land and fight for survival.

The final installment in the Anomaly series is a Reverse Tower Offense game, and tasks players with fending off humans using real-time tactical attacks.

Players can create their own tech tree which can be used to buy additional tower upgrades, additional damage, armor or critical hit chance.

Each of the game’s eight towers has its own special ability and weakness, and there are 24 levels with multiple difficulty levels to choose from. E
