Obscure and sequel arrive on Steam next month
Classic survival horror games Obscure and Obscure: The Aftermath are on their way to Steam, developer Mighty Rocket Studio has announced.
Destructoid reports both games will release on Match 7, with a couple of new features such as widescreen and controller support.
Obscure released in 2004 and its sequel arrived in 2007, and both have been difficult to track down for some time now - although they do turn up in bargain bins very occasionally.
The pair did well enough that the team was offered the chance to work on the poorly-received Alone on the Dark reboot, after which it quite sensibly changed its name from Hydravision Entertainment and went on to pretend nothing ever happened. It eventually produced digital title Final Exam, a side-scroller with horror themes.
