Dota 2 New Bloom Festival now in full swing

Dota 2's latest event and update, the New Bloom Festival, is live. Players are encouraged to collect Flamesalt Ingots during matches over the course of the event, in order to purchase the weapons needed to defeat the Year Beast, should it appear. The Year Beast will drop better loot to those who do more damage, so it's worth the investment. That's not all the event brings; there'll also be flash sales, and visiting the New Bloom Festival page now allows you to click through three pages detailing everything included in the update - two new characters, lots of balancing, replay Takeovers, and much more.
