Square's former technology chief joins Konami to work on FOX Engine

Julien Merceron, who is Square Enix's former worldwide technology director has been named worldwide technology director at Konami and will be in charge of digital entertainment.
Merceron will work out of Konami's European headquarters in Windsor, England, and will also be working on enhancing the firm's game program development technology, according to Eurogamer.
He will also be contributing to the development of future versions of the FOX Engine, and work on the firm's PES and baseball games.
