Colin McRae Rally appears on iTunes, based on classic racer

Colin McRae Rally has been outed on the New Zealand iTunes store ahead of tomorrow's reveal. It's a new mobile game from Codemasters based on classic PS2 title Colin McRae Rally 2.0, and it features some 30 tracks.

You can find the game on iTunes here. It's priced NZ$6.49 and features tracks set across familiar locations including Corsica, the Greek mountains and the Australian outback.

Just like the classic game, McRae's co-driver Nicky Grist will provide pace notes, and players can get behind the wheel of a Subaru Impreza, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI, Lancia Stratos and Colin McRae’s own Ford Focus.

The game features Game Centre support and will only play on iPad 2 or newer, iPhone 4S/5, or 5th gen iPod touch.
