Xbox 360 being updated based on Xbox One design, new XBL with free games
New Xbox 360 design announced starting today. Smaller, and quieter and in July XBL Gold members will be getting free games - Halo 3 and Assassins Creed 3 are the first ones to be given free and more will be announced soon. Shots of it are below. Existing Xbox Live Gold membership for Xbox 360 carry over to Xbox One, and you can join the service for as low as $5 per month.

Also, now anyone in your home can access most Gold member benefits on your Xbox One at no additional cost. Your Gold membership also travels with you wherever you go, and unlocks Twitch as a built-in experience on Xbox One.
Other benefits of Xbox Live Gold on Xbox One will give you a access to multiplayer, Smart Match, your Xbox Live reputation will als now play a prominent and valuable role by rewarding participation while reducing troublemakers and cheaters.
A unified system across Xbox Live and all of your games allows for you to have much more control over who you play with.
You will also have the ability to record, edit, share and broadcast.
New goodies, new console
Yusuf Mehdi showed off the entirely new designed Xbox 360 and detailed a huge variety of new Xbox 360 titles slated for release within the next 12 month.
Xbox 360, which has sold more than 76 million consoles worldwide, and now every Xbox Live Gold subscriber will receive two free Xbox 360 games per month until the release of Xbox One, starting with: Halo 3 and “Assassin’s Creed 2. And to celebrate E3 in the month of June, Xbox Live Gold members will receive a free download of Fable 3.
The redesigned Xbox 360 is available starting today for $199.99 for the 4 GB console, $299.99 for the 250 GB edition and $299.99 for the 4GB Kinect Bundle.
