Dota 2 Interactive Compendium gets new stretch goals, includes fan-picked hero

Dota 2 developer Valve has added new stretch goals to sales of the game's Interactive Compendium, the companion guide to its next tourney 'The International 2013'. The new goals offer incentives such as bonus HUD skins and a chance foe players to vote for the game's next hero.

Over on the Dota 2 blog, Valve spooled off its new rewards, which are as follows:

  • $2,000,000 – A custom HUD skin for all Compendium owners
  • $2,200,000 – A Taunt item with a brand new animation for all Compendium owners
  • $2,400,000 – Vote on participants in an 8 player Solo Championship (1 vs 1) at The International
  • $3,200,000 – Choose the next hero we release

If you're playing catch-up, the Compendium is a digital guide to this year's Dota 2 International tournament, which costs $10. Valve is taking $2.50 off each purchase and lobbing it into the tourney's prize pot. Stretch goals are unlocked as more people buy the Compendium via Steam.

Let us know if you've picked it up.
