Plants vs Zombies 2: It's About Time due in July
The long-awaited Plants vs Zombies 2 finally has a release window, and an extremely pertinent subtitle.
PopCap confirmed the release date on Facebook, as well as in a teaser trailer available below, which features a number of Internet personalities including Xbox'x Major Nelson.
Since the sequel was announced in August last year and has been largely silent since then - besides word of a delay - the new subtitle is quite fitting, isn't it?
No precise dating, pricing or platforms have been announced. The smash hit Plants vs Zombies originally released on Mac and PC, so we can probably expect the followup to do the same, but it's worth remembering that it went on to launch on mobile and consoles; with EA's grunt behind PopCap we may see a sim-ship on multiple formats.
