Defiance reaches 1 million registered players

Transmedia poster boy Defiance has roped in 1 million punters with its TV series and MMO combination.
Blue's News reports that Trion Worlds noted that the TV series is attracting "record cable numbers", too, although no specifics were given.
The publisher did have something to say regarding what gamers have been up to, though. In the month since it launched, Defiance playershave killed more than 500 million hellbugs.
They've driven 50 million miles, and battled 1 million Arkfalls.
Defiance is a science fiction collaboration between Trion and SyFy; the actions have players have effects on the TV show. It's available on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
