Dead Island dev reveals new Hellraid hack-and-slash project

Dead Island and Call of Juarez developer Techland has peeled back the curtain on its latest project. Bored of whacking zombies? Perhaps a hack-and-slash title that goes by the name of Hellraid could help.
Techland has already tried to ramp up interest in the title by saying it is "two games in one". A single-player narrative allows players to combat the demons of Hell by themselves, or alternatively, three friends can jump into the action. I'll be honest, that sounds like one game with two different modes.
Random challenges are added to each session, forcing players to compete for points. As Eurogamer points out, it's probably wise to expect Dead Islandisms in a different location.
