Dead or Alive 5 related game in the works at Team Ninja

Team Ninja has announced some sort of re-release or new version of Dead or Alive 5.
Shoryuken reports the game was announced at a tournament by producer Yosuke Hayashi.
It's not really clear what the new game is, but a teaser shows it definitely bears the title Dead or Alive 5 - suggesting it's an expansion rather than a full new sequel - and is headed to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. We've asked Tecmo Koei for more information.
The character seen in the very brief video below is Momiji, from Ninja Gaiden; Tecmo Koei is pretty keen on character cross-promotion, and characters from Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden regularly wander into each others' domains. The audience seemed very excited by her appearance.
