PS4 - Blacklight: Retribution and Primal Carnage: Genesis confirmed for next-gen
Two independent sequels have been confirmed for PlayStation 4 release, bringing free-to-play and episodic gaming to the traditional console space.
Blacklight: Retribution is a free-to-play PC shooter, and followup to Blacklight: Tango Down. As detailed on the PlayStation Blog, Retribution will also be free on PlayStation 4 when it makes its console debut. According to Joystiq, it's the first pub fund game announced for the new system. Check out a trailer below.
The second new game announce is Primal Carnage: Genesis. Unlike the asymmetrical team-based multiplayer of the original Primal Carnage, the Unreal Engine 4-powered Genesis is all about dinosaurs. It's a single-player, story-driven experience, and will release in episodic format.
