Valve stats indicate 100,000,000 games of Dota 2 played, 3 million uniques per month

If Valve's head gets any bigger it won't fit through the door. Alongside announcing Dota 2's 'Least Played Mode', the company has also parted with some pretty spectacular stats regarding how many people play the title.
Amazingly, 100,000,000 games have been played thus far. Considering theproject is officially still in its closed beta process, 3,000,000 million monthly unique players is a staggering feat.
"The Dota 2 community is blossoming into a beautiful flower," suggested a Valve blog post. It appears that flower is a Human Flytrap big enough to hold a ridiculous population in its grasp.
