War of the Roses December update shows Winter Has Arrived

War of the Roses will benefit from a new content drop on Wednesday, adding new seasonally-inspired maps and gear.
The free update arrives on December 19 and includes two brand new snow-covered maps, based on the historic battles of Wakefield and Towton.
We're also promised a pile of new weapons and armour, but no details were given. However, two premium weapons, the Dagger and Sword of Mary, will be available in the game's store from December 21, and will be discounted until December 26.
This is the second of a series of monthly content updates for the medieval combat sim; the first, in November, offered new weapons and equipment as well as a game mode called Pitched Battle.
