Wii U only moving 1.2 games per console - analyst

Wii U is moving 1.2 games per system sold, according to Longbow Research analyst James Hardiman, down from two games sold per console when Wii was first introduced in 2006. Hardiman gleaned his figures from the latest NPD report, via GI International, and believes the lower than expects units numbers derive from one of two things: the inclusion of NintendoLand with the Wii U Deluxe version; or the console price left consumers' wallets a bit too empty to purchase more than one title. Most analysts tend to agree, though, that the console will continue to sell well into spring 2013. Beyond summer, even the analysts are unsure.
