Former LucasArts president returns to Epic Games as VP of product development
Paul Meegan, former president of LucasArts, has returned to Epic Games as its VP of product development.
Meegan left Epic China in 2010 and joined LucasArts, and then left his position with the company in August after the reveal of Star Wars 1313.
“I’m really happy to be back in the Epic family and working with some of the best developers in the industry,” he said. "The company is stepping up its game across the board, and I’m honored to be a part of that process.”
Prior to his former stint at Epic, Meegan founded Sinister Games in 1997 which was acquired by Ubisoft.
Meegan then stayed on with Ubisoft Montrea working on projects such as Splinter Cell, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time and Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield before moving on to Epic China.
Thanks, Develop.
