Final Fantasy VII re-releasing for PC "this year"

Square switched its "soon" release date for the PC re-release of FFVII to "this year" today.

There were no other new details in today's statement over yesterday's announcement.

The re-release with feature a stat-boosting system, achievements and more.

It'll be available exclusively through Square Enix's online store.
