SimCity Social now in open beta

EA's SimCity Social has launched on Facebook and has already eaten a large chunk of my day. If you're keen to check out the city builder and management sim, sign up here. It is not yet clear whether the social title, which seems to build on EA's previous success with The Sims Social, will have any ties to SimCity when it launches next year.
