"Nothing to announce" with P4: Golden European release, says Zen

Despite the announcement of a European release of Persona 4: Arena over the weekend, Zen United has told VG247 it has nothing to say in regards to it possibly releasing Persona 4: The Golden for Vita in Europe.

Zen's is typically known to release Arc System Works's fighting games in Europe only, but with Arena's EU release happening under its watch, could we see a change in tactics just for Golden?

"It's another game that we've had a huge amount of requests for and it's a game I, personally, am very excited about playing - but we have nothing to announce with regards to Golden at this time," Zen United director Geraint Evans told us in the aftermath of the fighter's European announcement at MCM last weekend.

For the record, the European re-releases of the Persona PSP games from 1-3 have been handled by Ghostlight. The original PS2 version was published in Europe by Square Enix in March 2009.

Persona 4: The Golden launches on June 13 in Japan and this autumn in the US for Vita. Arena comes to EU PS3 and 360s this autumn. The fighter's Japanese release date was brought forward by a week this morning.
