Bullet time: First look at Max Payne 3 multiplayer
Rockstar has released part one of of a new Max Payne 3 video series which focuses on the game's multiplayer.
The video details the "core features of Max Payne 3 multiplayer," which focuses on integrating signature gameplay elements such as Bullet Time into the modes Gang Wars and Payne Killer.
Gang Wars is the "flagship" mode, where players participate in story-based matches using warring factions from the single-player game. New branching storylines in the mode will change dynamically, and objectives will be based on the outcome of each round.
Players will also get a chance to play as Max Payne and his partner, Raul Passos in Payne Killer, a "blend of co-operative and competitive play." Outnumbered by enemy players, Max and Passos will need to fend off other players using signature weapons, Bullet Time and painkillers in order to stay alive.
