The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim picks up five awards at IAAs

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim won five awards overnight in the Interactive Academy Awards at DICE, with other winners including Uncharted 3, Portal 2 and SWTOR.

The Bethesda RPG won the coveted Game of the Year award in Las Vegas tonight, as well as Outstanding Achievement in Gameplay Engineering, Gameplay Direction, Outstanding Achievement in Story and Role-Playing/Massively Multiplayer Game of the Year.

Another big winner was Uncharted 3, which picked up up three awards including Outstanding Achievement in Animation.

Other award-winners included Skylanders, Batman: Arkham City, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Portal 2, Forza Motorsport 4, LittleBigPlanet 2 and Bastion.
