Quick Shots: Final Fantasy XIII-2 screens show a gorgeous game

Square Enix has released a new batch of screenshots to celebrate the launch of Final Fantasy XIII-2 in the UK today, and as one would expect from a FF game, they are drop dead gorgeous - even if they are just showing combat. Say whatever you will about the series' gameplay or storylines over the years, there's no denying it has always been one of the more visually pleasing franchises out there. This time out, the sequel to FFXIII puts players in the shoes of Lightning's sister Serah as she a Noel, a hunter from the future, journey across the boundaries of time and ultimately come face-to-face with antagonist Caius Ballad and his interesting hair decor. It's out on PS3 and Xbox 360.
