Reggie: Wii U information coming throughout 2012
Nintendo of America boss Reggie Fils-Aime has suggested we may not have to wait until E3 before we find out more about on Wii U.
"Essentially, we will be sharing information throughout the entire year," said Fils-Aime in an interview with Spike at CES, where Nintendo is showing Wii U and its content from last year's E3 to press behind closed doors.
"I won't say you're going to have to wait until E3, but certainly we're not breaking any news here; no launch date, no launch price, no game line-up. We will be sharing a whole lot of information all through the year on how we will be driving Wii U into households this year."
Fils-Aime added, on the suggestion that 3DS's launch line-up wasn't quit there, that Wii U's launch line-up and launch window games would contain "experiences that are going to drive the install base" of the new hardware.
Wii U is set to launch sometime between E3 and the end of the year.
