Report - AU$1 million owed by Team Bondi

According to an Edge report, staff at Team Bondi were owed as much as $1 million.

Documents filed with the ASIC (Australian Securities And Investments Commission) showed that $1,425,156.78 (£900,051) was owed altogether to creditors with 33 staff working at the LA Noire studio owed $1,074,283.28, including founder Brendan McNamara for $102,495 and studio GM Vicky Lord, who was due $99,155.

$43,652 is also owed for lead gameplay designer David Heironymus, who defended the studio in an open letter in August following claims of horrendous crunch and working conditions whilst working on the game. Another staffer, Charles Lefebvre, is owed $19,120.

Biggest of all, though, is $145,795 meant to be owed for DepthAnalysis, the company founded by McNamara which provided LA Noire's famous MotionScan technology.

More money is also owed towards corporate creditors and accountants tied to the studio.

Liquidators have now been brought in to fully close the studio.
