Space Channel 5, SEGA Bass Fishing head to XBLA and PSN

SEGA has confirmed that two more Dreamcast classics are to land on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network next month. Space Channel 5 Part 2 and SEGA Bass Fishing will arrive in Early October and have previously been featured on the physical Dreamcast Collection disc that was released to retail.

The two Dreamcast titles are now confirmed to be getting a release on the console digital distribution platform of your choice - though if you absolutely can't wait until October they're available on a disc as part of the Dreamcast Collection disc which features Crazy Taxi and Sonic Adventure as well as the two titles mentioned above.

If you're buying the digital versions they'll set you back 800 Microsoft Points apiece.

SEGA Bass Fishing is an arcade fishing game that originally used its very own fishing rod peripheral and boasts PlayStation Move support to emulate that, giving you the license to flail about as you catch virtual fish if you want.

Space Channel 5 Part 2 is one of the earliest iterations of gameplay that'd later find a home on touch screen devices with games like Rhythm Heaven and Elite Beat Agents, combining campy music and visuals with rhythm-based gameplay. Best of all, it actually features a cameo by a space-bound version of Michael Jackson who is referred to as 'Space Michael.' I'm not joking.

Both games will arrive on PSN on the 4th October, while Xbox Live Arcade will get them a day later for its usual Wednesday release on the 5th.

Thanks, Eurogamer.
