PSP E-1000 tech specs reveal fewer features, greater mass
The new, cheaper PSP model revealed at gamescom doesn't just lack WiFi - it's got half the speakers of the original.
The E-1000 model has just one monoauraul speaker equipped, while previous models have sported dual stereo speakers. Happily, it still comes with a headphone port.
Along with WiFi and onboard stereo, Sony also seems to have jettisoned whatever it is that makes the PSP 2000 model so light - it comes in at 223 g, as opposed to the more familiar model's 189 g.
The new model has been priced at €99, $99 and AUD $140.
