Apple currently testing 4G LTE phones

Internet super-sleuths are reporting that Apple is currently testing phones with 4G modems, which could potentially be a great sign for iPhone online gaming


iPhone gaming is great when all you want to play is Words With Friends, but if you want something a bit more substantial like N.O.V.A. 2 or Real Racing then you're practically forced to lash yourself to a wi-fi connection.

Which is why any iPhone gamer should be pretty thrilled about the prospect of Apple releasing a 4G enabled iPhone. The combination of the awesome iPhone development community with a competent online-anywhere platform could yield incredible results.

It's unknown if the 4G phone is the next iPhone rumored to be released in September.
