Report - Used 3DS sales have doubled in Japan

According to data retrieved from Media Create, sales of used 3DS systems have doubled after Nintendo announced the system was getting a price reduction. According to Nintendo World Report, Media Create believes it's due to players wanting to get in on the Ambassador Program before the price drops, or sue to retailers dropping prices on used systems by around ¥4,000 ($51).
In the US, it has been rumored that Walmart will be dropping the price of 3DS a few days early, which would ensure the big box store would get the jump on it's competitors.
