Final Fantasy Type-0 finally dated... in Japan

After zillions of years in development and a full-blown platform switcheroo, the finish line is finally in sight for Final Fantasy Type-0. Andriasang reports that Square Enix has given the tamely named (at least, in comparison to Theatrhythm and [duodecim]) RPG a Japanese release date of October 13. It's tipping the scales at two UMDs, too, so it'll carry a higher-than-normal 7700 yen price tag.

Catch a celebratory five-minute trailer after the break. Sadly, it's not just five minutes of characters striking victory poses. Oh for the good old days...
