Fallout: New Vegas patch to precede DLC
Bethesda has announced Fallout: New Vegas will see a major patch before the expected Honest Hearts DLC arrives.
A post on the Bethesda forums confirmed the paid DLC has been delayed until the free patch's completion and release.
The main focus of the update is "optimizations and stability improvements" to reduce crashing and freezing.
Some bug fixes, weapons balancing and other requested fixes are also included.
The patch has been submitted to platform holders for assessment, and is expected within the next few weeks, with the PC version due first. Another update will release at a later date.
Fallout: New Vegas was notorious at release for a significant number of bugs and issues.
Thanks, Joystiq.
