Magicka: Vietnam DLC gets a date and first screenshots
Paradox Interactive has announced that Arrowhead Game's Magicka: Vietnam DLC will hit digital distribution channels on April 12 for $4.99.
Even if you do not plan on purchasing the DLC, you will still be able to play it providing the server host has the DLC installed.
Magicka: Vietnam features a lengthy challenge scenario that puts you in the combat boots and "stylish robe" of a Wizard GI. Players will venture into the Goblin-Cong jungle with up to three others in an attempt to "liberate prisoners from a POW camp and face off against deadly Vietnam themed enemies."
Players will get to destroy enemy positions, and try to escape the perils of the jungle in order to get to the evacuation helicopter. An array of Vietnam-era weapons as well as special Magick that calls in a napalm strike on enemy positions has been added for the content, which should prove to be rather humorous to use.
The DLC also contains a new survival challenge map with increased difficulty in direct response to the request from the community.
