Freestyle Games still chatting with Activision about future
Freestyle Games has said that it's still chatting with Activision about its future.
The DJ Hero developer said in a statement that it was having "positive discussions with Activision."
"We have not reached an agreement as of today, however we are in continued dialogue and hope to have more news soon," said the studio in a statement, credited to creative director Jamie Jackson, commercial director Chris Lee and design director David Osbourn.
"Messages from the industry and gamers alike have been warmly received and we are incredibly grateful for the support."
Freestyle said earlier this month following confirmation that Activision was to shut down its music business units that the developer was "actively working" with the publisher with no job losses confirmed at the time.
Acti said earlier this month it would cut 500 jobs at the company.
Thanks, EG.
