2K has proudly announced that basketball sim NBA 2K11 has out-performed its brethren so thoroughly as to score the title of fastest selling game in the 2K Sports label's history.
Since its release in October 2010, NBA 2K11 has managed "nearly" four million sales worldwide, topping the efforts of the labels' NHL, Major League basketball, and baseball franchises.
Industry Gamers observed that EA's cancellation of the ill-fated NBA Elite 11 left 2K with a chance to corner the market, which, quite obviously, it has done.
As the cover smugly advertises, NBA 2K11 lets you play as the most realistic-looking Michael Jordan ever, which is probably worth the $39.99 retail price right there.
