Highlander the Game officially canceled by Square

There can be only none, apparently.
According to IGN, Widescreen's Highlander The Game, has been canceled by Square Enix.
Announced back in 2007 with Eidos as the original publisher, Highlander was was slated for release in late 2008 for PC,PS3, and Xbox 360.
It's been so long since we've heard anything on this game, we can't decide whether we're upset or not.
