Rumor: Kinect Gears of War to be unveiled at Spike TV VGAs (Updated)
Update: Cliff Bleszinski's tweeted that Kinect's a no-go for Gears 3. He did not, however, shush the whispers of a Kinect-oriented spin-off. Fingers crossed.

Now let's get that chainsaw going.
According to a "reliable source" that spoke with IGN, Microsoft's gearing up to unveil some form of Gears of War title for Kinect. Whether it's an all-new game or merely integration with Gears 1, 2, or 3 the source didn't say, but either way, the kid gloves are coming off.
Apparently, Marcus and his meatheaded pals are only part of Microsoft's action-heavy VGA announcement platter. Both Kinect and non-Kinect titles are slated to be shown, so if you've been on the outs with your Xbox ever since it turned in its license to kill for dance shoes, a petting zoo, and whatever object an affront to humanity like Fighters Uncaged requires, all hope isn't lost.
The VGAs are set to take place in mid-December. Currently, Guillermo del Toro's THQ title has been confirmed for the show, but we're betting that's only the tip of the iceberg. Already, we have hundreds of official VG247 Bothans preparing to bring you news from the show. Many of them will die, as Bothans are wont to do. Us, we'll probably take a nap or something. Depends on what kind of mood we're in.
