Yamauchi hints at bikes DLC for Gran Turismo 5
Polyphony boss Kazunori Yamauchi has hinted we may see bikes included into Gran Turismo 5 as DLC.
Speaking to PSM3 (via CVG), Yamauchi said it would be something "we'd consider" if the demand was there.
"The environment we have right now allows us to drive motorcycles, but we need to get Gran Turismo 5 done first," he said.
"Once that's out of the way, if there's a strong demand for bikes, that's something we'd consider."
It's not the first time Polyphony experimented with bikes. The developer made bike-sim Tourist Trophy for PS2, which was practically GT on two wheels.
But if bikes were to be included, it'd be a first for GT.
A new release date for GT5 is expected by the end of next week at the earliest after Sony announced a worldwide delay for the racer last week.
