Report: Full 3DS hardware specs revealed

3ds0

The 3DS is a sleek, elegant, well-dressed piece of hardware, no doubt, but wouldn't you like to see how it looks - ahem - in the bedroom?

You know, after you've disassembled it. In your room. Where else would you do that?

IGN's gotten its hands on a list of alleged tech specs for Nintendo's dual-screened, tri-dimensioned handheld, so if you were dying to know makes the tiny marvel tick - so as to get your Chinese knock-off on shelves as soon as possible - then today's your lucky day. The tale of the tape is as follows:

Two 266MHz ARM11 CPUs, with a 133MHz GPU, 4MBs of dedicated VRAM, 64MBs of RAM, and 1.5GBs of flash storage.

Variations of the ARM 11 processor have been at the heart of Apple's iPhone, as well as the cold, mechanical heart of its scrappiest competitor, Android.

We'll check in with Nintendo to see if there's any truth to the report. In the meantime, we'll just leave those hot, potentially under-aged specs up there for you to ogle.
