Had your Bond fill with GoldenEye at E3? M's not done with you yet.

Activision's finally confirmed the existence of Bizarre Creations' James Bond: Blood Stone. First shots are below.

As rumoured earlier, the game is a mix of driving and action. It's a third-person affair "on land and sea" that "will unravel an international conspiracy across exotic locales".

“James Bond 007: Blood Stone captures the cinematic intensity of a Bond film by immersing players in an intriguing conspiracy that will require them to think and act like James Bond,” said Acti licensing boss, David Pokress.

“In addition, the game will feature a diverse array of multi-player modes and debut strategic objective-based gameplay that will allow Xbox 360, PS3 and PC players to battle as teams of spies and mercenaries through authentic Bond locales.”

"I thought Christmas only comes once a year"

The game features the likeness and voices of Daniel Craig, Joss Stone and Judi Dench and features an original story written by screenwriter Bruce Feirstein.

Promised gameplay includes cover-based firefights, "lethal hand-to-hand combat" and "adrenaline-fuelled driving sequences".

Athens, Istanbul, Monaco and Bangkok all feature. Multiplayer for up to 16 is included.

Joss Stone is to provide an exclusive track called “I’ll Take it All” for the title, written and performed by her and Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics.

Blood Stone video game is being developed by Bizarre Creations for 360, PS3 and PC. A DS version is being created by n-Space.

The news clarifies Gamepron's overnight discovery of a post on an unofficial Eurythmics fan-site, of all places, outing the game.

This was the title leaked by UK retailer HMV back in April. Activision confirmed it as far back as early last year.

There's no date.
