Super Mario 2 has super sales

Super Mario Galaxy 2 has sold nearly 1 million units in the US, after only one month on sale.
Nintendo said in an investor Q&A that the sequel has reached 900,000 units sold.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 isn’t the only Nintendo title to sell well recently. New Super Mario Bros. Wii, was described by Nintendo as the "best selling game so far in 2010," while Wii Sports Resort is "two of only four titles which has sold more than a million units from January through April according to NPD."
Super Mario Galaxy 2 was released in the US on May 23 and launched to huge critical acclaim.
